The course on Self-Understanding and Information Gathering for a Happy Life and University Adaptation focuses on improving students' ability to understand themselves and gather information. It uses various personality and interest assessments for self-exploration. By enhancing self-esteem through university life, students will develop the ability to design their own career paths and create a career roadmap. This course helps students not only adapt to university life but also set a clear direction for their lives.

진로탐색(Career exploration)

진로탐색은 대학에 입학하는 신입생들이 학교생활과 학업 방향을 효과적으로 계획할 수 있도록 돕기 위해 설계된 교과목이다. 본 교과목은 학교 소개, 단과대학 및 소속 학과 소개, 학과별 교육과정 및 졸업 후 진로, 다양한 비교과 프로그램 등 학생들의 성공적인 대학 생활에 필요한 내용을 다룬다. 본 강의를 수강함으로써 학생들은 자신에게 맞는 학과(학부)를 탐색하고 학문적 목표를 설정하며, 졸업 후 진로를 계획할 수 있다.
Career exploration is a course designed to help incoming freshmen effectively plan their school life and academic direction upon entering university. This course covers essential topics for students' successful university life, including an introduction to the university, the introduction of colleges and affiliated departments, curricula by department, career paths after graduation, and various extracurricular programs. By taking this course, students will be able to explore departments (or faculties) that suit them, set academic goals, and plan their career paths after graduation.

취업전략과 경력개발(employment strategy and career duvelopment)

취업전략과 경력개발 교과목은 임금근로자로 입직하기 위한 기본적인 준비단계인 입사지원서 작성 및 면접전략에 대한 부분에 대한 것과 입직 전 전체 생애 진로와 관련한 경력개발은 물론 입직 후 경력개발을 통해 적극적으로 커리어를 쌓고 희망하는 직급이나 기업으로의 전환에 도움이 될 수 있는 강좌로 진행한다. 이에 본 교과목은 직무분석 및 기업분석을 통해 구직에 필요한 현재의 역량을 점검하는 것은 물론 앞으로 갖춰야 할 것을 계획하고 실천할 수 있도록 동기를 부여하고자 한다. 또한 직무적합성을 높인 입사지원서를 토대로 기업에서 진행하는 다양한 면접을 익히고 면접기술을 키울 수 있도록 하는 것은 물론 대학생활 동안 경력을 개발하고 직장인으로 나아갈 수 있도록 하는데 의의가 있다.
The course on Employment Strategies and Career Development provides a comprehensive approach to preparing for employment and developing one's career. The goal of this course is to help students set career objectives, effectively search for and analyze companies, and develop the necessary skills for job applications and interviews. Additionally, the course focuses on career development during university and strategies for ongoing career growth after securing a job.

창의적사고와글쓰기(Writing and Creative Thinking)

대학생에게 필요한 창의적이고 독립적인 사고 능력과 이를 정확하게 전달하기 위한 글쓰기 표현 능력을 개발한다. 또한 대학 생활에서 필수적으로 갖추어야 할 학문적 글쓰기의 기초를 학습한다.
This course aims to help students develop their creative and independent thinking skills and learn how to write more accurately. In the course they also learn the basics of academic writing which in essential for college life.

테크니컬라이팅(Technical Writing)

본 과목은 이공계열 학생들을 대상으로 한 기술 글쓰기(Technical Writing) 과목으로, 기초교양 영역의 1학년 전체 필수 교과목으로 지정된 <창의적 사고와 글쓰기>의 대체 교과목이다. 본 과목은 공대 학생들에게 글쓰기 학습에 필요한 학습 동기를 적절하게 부여할 수 있도록 학생들의 전공 특성을 고려한 맞춤형 교재와 교육과정을 제공한다.
This course is a technical writing course for science and engineering students, and is an alternative course to "Creative Thinking and Writing," which is designated as an essential course for all first graders in the field of basic education. This subject provides customized textbooks and curriculum that take into account students' major characteristics so that engineering students can be properly motivated to learn writing.

읽기와토론(Reading and Discussion)

텍스트에 대한 비판적 읽기 능력을 함양하고, 책에 기반한 논리적이고 체계적인 사고력을 배양하며 토론을 통해 공적 말하기를 연습하도록 한다. 책 읽기에 기반한 사유를 토론과 발표를 통해 심화, 확장하면서 정확한 의사 표현과 효율적인 의사소통 능력을 기른다.
This course fosters critical reading skills for texts, fosters logical and systematic thinking skills based on books, and gives practice in public speaking through discussions. In this course students are given the opportunity to develop their communication skills.

고전명작읽기(Reading Classics and Great Books)

동서양 고전과 인문학 명작을 강독하고 토론한다. 고전과 명작을 집중적으로 읽고 토론하는 과정을 통해 고전에 대한 이해 능력과 독해 능력을 기르게 된다. 또한 인류가 쌓아온 정신적 문명의 위대함을 접하고 인간 사회의 논쟁적 문제와 가치에 대해 판단할 수 있는 사유의 힘과 안목을 기르도록 한다.
Literature and film are important texts that show the cultural level of a society and public consciousness. This subject aims to help students understand the cultural and social values of literature and cinema by having them read the text of various literary works and films. The course also aims to help students improve their own reading comprehension and understand the cultural theme and scripts of film.

러시아의 역사와 문화 읽기(Contemporary Russian culture)

러시아의 과거와 현재의 역사, 문화 등을 소개하여 러시아에 대한 이해를 돕는데 그 목적을 둔다.
This course is purposed to understand Russia, studying the past and the present of Russian geography, history, culture and etc.

세계문학의 이해와 감상(The Understanding of Modern Literature)

현대의 문학작품들을 통해서 우리의 '세계'에서 특정한 '문제'를 설정하고, '해결'에 이르는 전략과 방식들에 대해 살펴본다. 1990년대 이후 작품들을 중심으로, 현대세계를 형성하는 과정을 따라간다. 이러한 일련의 과정은 문학이 더 이상 <근대문학의 종언>으로 회자되는 정전적 의미가 아닌, 우리의 현실 속에 놓여있는 삶에 대한 물음임을 인식하게 된다.
This class sets-up the specific problems in our ‘world’ through the modern literature and explores the strategies and methods to solve problems. Focusing on the literatures after 1990’s the course follows the establishing process of the modern world.

고대 그리스시대부터 현재에 이르기까지 유럽의 역사를 살펴보고, 정치, 경제, 사상, 학문, 예술 전반에 걸쳐 유럽 세계가 갖게 된 특징적인 문화를 이해한다.
This class explores the European history from the Ancient Greek to the contemporary Europe. The students will learn the caracteristics and the historical making of european culture in politics, economics, ideas and the arts.

This Living Classical Chinese Course focus on teaching the basics of Classical Chinese through Chinese characters used in everyday life in various examples and helps students prepare for Hanja(Chinese character) level test and substantially get a job.

재미있는 철학과 미학(Understanding of Philosophy and esthetics)

철학(philosophy)은 그 어원이 말하듯 지혜(sophioa)에 대한 사랑(philo)이다. 즉 철학은 지혜에 도달하기 위한 수단인 것이다. 본 과목은 동ㆍ서양의 시대별, 사상별로 주요철학들을 고찰하여 고대인들의 삶의 지혜를 배움으로써 오늘날 우리의 지혜로운 삶을 영위하는 힘을 배양하는데 그 목적이 있다. Philosophy has its origin in the love(philo) of wisdom(sophioa). That is, philosophy is a method to attain wisdom. The purpose of this class is that students will explore the main philosophies of the east and the west, learn the wisdom of the ancient people and live wise lives.

한국문화와 불교(Korea Culture and Buddhism)

문화란 인간과 그를 둘러싼 환경의 상호관계이자 그에 따른 인간경험의 유기적 총합입니다. 그 가운데서 인간경험의 정점이자 경험중의 경험임을 자처하는 것이 종교이며, 본 강의는 가장 본질적이고 근원적인 경험의 하나인 종교, 주로 불교의 관점에서 다양한 문화적 현상의 의미를 살펴 보고, 한국문화의 자장 안에서 불교의 실제적 역할과 영향을 도그마적 신념의 체계가 아닌 보편적 문화의 관점에서 탐색하고자 합니다.

This course explores the diverse culture phenomenon from the perspective of Buddhism, and the role and effect of Buddhism on Korea culture from the universal culture perspective.

본 강좌는 이처럼 현대의 다문화사회의 생성 배경과 특성 그리고 이 사회를 살아가야 하는 우리들로써는 어떻게 이 사회를 이해하고 다른 문화배경을 가진 구성훤들과 어울리며 살아갈 것인가를 배우는 것이 오늘을 바르게 사는 길이 될 것이다. 더구나 사회지도자로써 또는 교육자로서 길을 가야하는 많은 이들에게는 단순히 일반 시민으로 살아가는 것 보다 훨씬 더 많은 이 사회에 대한 변화의 방향과 대응에 대한 지혜와 지식의 습득은 당연하다 할 것이다.
This course covers the various issues of the multi-cultural society and education. In this course, students will recognize and discuss the recent demand of the multi-cultural education. Next, key issues such as policy of multi-cultural society and communication problem will be considered. Finally, curriculum and counseling for the multi-cultural schools will be covered.

아산시의 과거, 현재, 미래에 대한 지리, 역사, 문화, 인물 등에 대하여 문화 관광/유적지 답사 및 지역 유명 인사들의 초청 특강을 통하여 이해하고 또 학생들의 호연지기와 조상들의 얼과 민족 고유의 문화를 계승/발전시키고 지역주민과 산업체, 대학이 상생하는 정신을 함양한다.
Students will explore tourist attractions and historic sites as well as meet locally important figures in order for them to learn about the past, present and future of Asan City. This will help them to become familiar with the geography, history, culture and public figures of Asan. Students will be encouraged to look at the big picture, and inherit the traditions as well as the culture of their ancestors. This will help them to foster the mind to prosper alongside with the local residents, businesses, and the universities.

부모교육론(Parental discipline)

올바른 부모의 역할과 이상적인 부모상에 대해 공부하는 예비부모교실의 성격을 가진 과목으로써 부모교육의 의미, 부모교육의 원리, 부모교육의 역사 등에 대해 배운다. 자녀의 발달단계에 따른 올바른 양육법을 통해 능력있는 부모가 되게 한다. 특히 부모와 자녀가 함께 공존하는 부모교육의 아주 중요한 장소인 가정의 중요성에 대해 배운다. 대화와 소통이 있는 화목하고 행복한 사랑의 가정을 연출하는 중심 존재가 바로 부모라는 사실을 통해 부모교육의 중요성을 인식하도록 한다.
This lecture provides you with the meaning of parent education, the principles of parent education, and the history of parent education as a subject with the character of a prospective parent classroom which consists of the role of the right parent and ideal parent image. Through this course, you will be able to become a capable parent through proper parenting as your child developing. In particular, we learn about the importance of place for parents and children to coexist. We can recognize the importance of parent education, and it is the fact that parents are central to creating a harmonious and happy family of love with communication with course.

생활속의 헌법 탐험(Constitution's Exploration in the Life)

생활 속의 헌법탐험이란 강좌는 수강생들에게 우리의 일상생활과 밀접하게 연관되어 있고 끊임없이 발생하고 있는 국가의 최고법인 헌법의 개념과 기능 및 특성, 헌법의 제정과 개정, 헌법상 기본제도와 다양한 기본권의 종류와 의의 및 내용 및 이와 관련된 입법과 판례, 국회, 행정부, 법원, 헌법재판소 등과 관련된 다양한 헌법적 쟁점에 대해 강의하여 향후 수강생들이 자신의 기본권을 침해받지 않고 타인의 기본권을 침해하지 않으며 살아가는데 많은 도움을 주고, 공직이나 일반 직장에 취업하기 위해 헌법과 사회과목 또는 시사상식 문제 등에 많은 도움을 주는 과목이다.
Lecture of the Constitution's Exploration in the Life teaches a concept, a function and characteristic of the constitution, the establishment and revision of the constitution, a basic system of the constitution, meanings and contents of the basic right including rights concerned a legislation and precedent, the national assembly, the administration, courthouse, the constitutional court. Accordingly, this lecture teaches fundamental ability to live while protection catches one's human rights without participants infringing human rights of another person and this lecture is helped with participants find a job in the field of public office or a private enterprise for solve a problem of a constitution subject or social studies or current events common sense.

생활예절과 문화(Manners and culture)

본 교과는 한국의 생활문화를 바탕으로 한 예절의 근본정신과 구체적 예의범절을 이론과 실습을 통해 학습한다. 이를 통해 좀 더 바람직한 방향으로의 행동변화 모색과 함께 진정한 사회인으로서의 자질을 함양할 수 있도록 한다.
In this subject, readers can study the fundamental mind of manners and specific etiquettes based on the living culture of Korea through the theory and practice. It allows readers cultivate the qualification to be a true member of society with seeking to change their behavior be more desirable.

시민사회와법률(Civic society and Law)

사람이 사회생활을 하면서 필연적으로 발생하는 여러 가지 법률문제를 재산관계와 신분관계로 구분하여 각 유형별로 분석하고 이에 대한 법의 적용과 법적 해결방안의 제시를 통하여 법에 대한 수강생의 이해를 도모한다. 구체적으로 법에 대한 기본적 지식에 대한 강의와 민사법을 중심으로 주변에서 쉽게 발생할 수 있는 사례를 제시하고 이에 대한 법적 해결방안을 살펴본다.
The course provides students with the general knowledge of law in every day life. Students will make a division of the various legal questions into property and status, analyze them, and provide legal application and legal solution. More specifically, this course deals with the general legal cases in every day life and legal solutions focusing on the basic knowledge of law and code civil.

양심혁명세미나(Seminar for consicence revolution)

본 수업은 선문대학교의 교육목표인 인격자 양성 프로그램의 하나로서 인성교육을 강화시키기 위한 수업으로서 한 학기동안 학생들 스스로가 자신의 양심혁명 프로젝트(양심을 중심한 삶살이)를 만들고, 그 계획을 삶의 현장에서 실천함으로써 자신의 인격을 발전을 꾀하는 실질적인 자기혁신 수업이다. 그러므로 본 수업은 학생들이 자신의 모습에 대한 성찰과 양심에 대한 배움(이론+실천)을 통해서 양심의 힘을 키워 양심대로 행동하는 능력을 배양시킬 수 있도록 하는 데에 수업 목적이 있다. 본 수업에서 논하는 양심의 능력은 크게 세 가지(첫째 학생들의 준법행위 능력, 둘째 책임적 행위 능력, 셋째 위타적 행위 능력)로 구분하고자 하며, 이 3가지 능력을 향상시키는 것을 가시적인 수업목표로 삼는다. 본 수업은 학생들 스스로가 양심을 중심한 자기혁신 프로젝트를 기획하고 만들어 직접 실천을 할 수 있도록 교육하며, 더 나아가 경험한 내용들을 토대로 토의를 통한 분석 및 해결책 모색을 반복케 하여 학생들로 하여금 목표를 달성케 한다.
The purpose of this class is that the students strengthen their conscience and act according their conscience through the introspection and learning theories and practice of conscience. For this, this class helps students strengthen the good character by creating conscience project and practice the project in real life. This course defines conscience as 3 components consisting of law abiding sprit, responsibility, and altruistic act.

연애학 개론(Introduction to love affairs)

사람들이 평생 원하는 것이 사랑이지만, 정작 연애가 쉽다는 사람은 거의 없다. 우리는 가장 사랑한다는 이들과 관계를 맺을 때 더 서툴고, 더 상처를 많이 주고 받는다. 왜 그렇게 되는 걸까? 연애라는 행위 안에는 단순하게 감정이 오고 가는 것이 아니라, 타인과의 교감, 자존감의 수준, 사회적인 맥락과 함께 어우러져 있기 때문이다. 이 강의는 왜 사랑이 어려운지, 어떻게 하면 더 나은 관계를 맺을 수 있는지를 밝힌다. 문학, 철학, 심리학 등 분야의 다양한 자료들을 바탕으로, 자신 안에서 타인을 사랑할 수 있는 힘을 기르는 과정을 경험하고자 한다.

인간의 심리와 행동을 신경과학, 학습현상, 기억, 발달, 동기, 사회심리, 성격 등 다양한 영역에서 과학적인 방법으로 이해한다. 심리학의 기본적인 지식을 바탕으로 주변사람들과 자신을 보다 잘 이해할 수 있으며, 세상과 자신을 이해함으로써 실제생활에 보다 잘 적응할 수 있다.
This course is intended to provide students with an introduction to the field of psychology such as biological, social, cognitive, developmental and abnormal psychology. The goal of this course is that students will gain an understanding of the basic areas which psychology deals with and the way psychology is relevant in their own life.

차세대지도자의변혁적리더쉽(next generation leader & Transformational leadership)

대학은 학문탐구의 전당이며 미래사회를 이끌어갈 지도자를 양성하는 산실이다, 지식 정보화시대의 지도자는 “나를 따르라”로 대표되는 전통적 리더십 개념을 넘어 “변화와 창조 및 모두가 함께”를 강조하는 현대적 리더십의 이해와 실천 능력을 갖추어야 한다. 그리고 “리더는 타고나는 것이 아니라 체계적 학습과 경험을 통해서 누구나가 다 리더가 될 수 있음을 강조”함은 물론, 변혁적 리더십에 대한 이해와 실습을 통하여 차세대 리더를 양성 한다.
Universities are halls of learning in which public figures who will lead us in the future are trained. In our information age, leaders need more than a "top-down" mindset, rather they need to understand and practice "bottom-up' leadership. This session will reiterate the fact that "leaders are not born, but that anyone can be a leader through methodical learning and experiences“ and it has the aim to produce next generation leaders by giving them transformational leadership training.

창의인성특강(A Lecture of SMU Character)

이 교과목은 선문대학교 학생들에게 인성교육의 중요성과 더불어 인성이 삶속에서 어떻게 적용되며 어떠한 과정을 통해 인성을 학습할 수 있는 지를 학습하게 된다. 인성에는 도덕성, 사회성, 감성적 차원의 접근이 이루어질 필요가 있으며, 각각의 영역에서 필요한 인성 덕목이 있음을 확인하고 이를 생활속에 적용할 수 있도록 선문대학교를 졸업하고 현재 교수로 재직하고 있거나 직원으로 재직하고 있는 선배들과 졸업생 가운데 인성의 중요성을 학생들과 서로 나눌 수 있는 교과목이다.
This course helps students to improve good character based on morality, sociality, and emotion. Students will have a chance to discuss the good character with their seniors and alumni who are working in Sun Moon University.

현대사회와 인간관계(The Present Society and Human Relation)

인간관계의 본질과 문화에 대하여 공부하고, 인간들이 살아가는 조직사회에서의 인간관계에 대하여 연구하며, 그 조직 속에서 인간들에 행동과 그 관리를 고찰함으로써 성공적인 인간관계를 정립하여 행복한 인생을 살 수 있는 길을 모색하는데 있다.
Although in recent times people have invented the cyber world which transcends time and space, they are still unaware of the state of humanity and the fundamentals of human relationships. Therefore this lecture will discuss the essence of human beings and human relationships. This lecture suggests a principled solution for humanity who has lost its way and place as true human beings in this world of fear and crisis, and analyses what it means to create true relationships in this modern age.

북한체제와 통일의 이해(North Korean Systems & Unification of Korea)

이 교과목은 한반도 평화와 통일의 당사자인 북한을 올바르게 이해하는데 초점을 두고 강의한다. 구체적으로 북한정권의 수립과정, 북한의 정치, 외교, 군사문제, 경제체제, 사회문화 예술, 남북관계 및 한반도 통일 정책 등을 중심으로 강의한다. 아울러 김정은 시대 북한의 변화 전망에 대해서도 살펴본다.
This course helps students to understand north korean systems and unification of Korea. Specifically, it includes the establishing process of north korean regime, politics, diplomacy, military, economy, culture,arts of north korea, relationship between the south and the north, and unification policies. Also the course investigates the future change in the age of Kim Jung En.

세계경제 25시(Economy of The World 25 Hours)

지금 전 세계는 이전의 사고방식으로는 발전해 나갈 수 없는 대 변혁기에 있다. 과거의 생각과 구조, 경험은 점차 무용지물이 되고 있는 것이다. 21C에 들어선 세계는 다자적 협력과 협상등 다차원적이며 전 세계적인 경제교류가 동시에 진행되고 있다. 또한 각각의 주의와 입장이 혼재함으로써 쉽게 분석되지 않는 변화무쌍한 현실도 마주하고 있다. 이에 따라, 세계경제를 움직이는 힘의 논리와 구조를 직시하여 21C 새로운 변화를 위한 재편 현상속에 주체적인 내 자신과 국가적 역할을 모색해 봄으로써 21C 를 이끌 의식과 능력을 겸비한 세계적 주역을 양성하는데 수업의 목적이 있다.

By lecture of culture, tradition, etiquette, the old school tie, regional relationship, background, financial power, human relationship, custom and etc. to the students in Korean society. 인구와 직업의 변화(Changes in population and occupation)

인구교육을 통해 인구변화에 따른 경제사회 전반에 미치는 부정적인 영향을 구체적으로 이해하고, 이에 대해 개인적인 수준에서의 대응과 사회적인 수준에서의 대응지식을 갖추고자 한다. 인구와 직업구조의 변화에 따른 삶의 지향점을 찾게 하고 자아정체감과 직업가치관을 충분히 형성하도록 한다. 인구교육의 필요성을 인식하고 사회의 예비교사로 인구개념과 직업인으로써 갖춰야 할 소양을 갖추도록 한다.
Through population education, we intend to specifically understand the negative impact of population change on the overall economy and society, and to have a personal level of response and social level of response knowledge. Find the direction of life according to changes in population and job structure and sufficiently form a sense of self-identity and vocational values. Recognize the need for population education and have the concept of population as a preliminary teacher in society and the knowledge that must be acquired as a professional.

우리 사회는 다양한 생명윤리 문제에 관한 사회적 합의가 이루어지지 않은 상태에서 생명과 관련된 과학기술이 빠른 속도로 발전해 왔다. 그 과정에서 여러 문제들이 야기되었다. 인간의 생명은 언제 출발한 것로 봐야 하는가 하는 문제를 비롯하여, 자살, 낙태, 안락사, 임상실험, 동물실험, 개인정보 공개에 이르기까지 생명문제를 둘러싼 다양한 견해들이 논의되어 왔다. 그러나 합의해야 할 많은 문제들이 있음에도 불구하고 견해의 차이가 큰 것도 사실이다. 이런 상황에서 생명과학기술에 대한 맹목적인 믿음은 의외의 문제를 제기하기도 한다. 이러한 여러 견해들을 살펴보는 것은 지성인의 사명이다.
Science technology has advanced rapidly without the social agreement on biomedical ethics. There have been a lot of issues discussed including suicide, abortion, animal experiment, clinical experiment, personal information and so on. In this course students will look into diverse perspectives on those issues and discuss them.

사실상 모든 인류는 아프리카 조상들의 후손들이라는 점에 의해 관련이 있다. 놀라울 정도로 다양한 수백만 종들의 모든 생명체들은 원시 지구에 번성했던 최초 미생물들의 후손이라는 점에서는 하나가 된다. 이러한 생명의 단일성과 다양성의 이중성이 현대 과학을 규정하고 있는 것이다. 진화를 이해함으로써 생명을 구성하는 분자들의 탐구로부터 생태계 분석에 이르는 모든 과학 분야를 이해 할 수 있게 될 것이다.

All living things of an astonishing variety of millions of species become one in that they are descended from the first microbes that flourished on the primitive earth. This duality of singleness and diversity of life define modern science. You will be able to understand all the scientific fields from the exploration of the molecules that make up life to ecological analysis by understanding evolution.

현대물리학의 이해(The understanding of modern physics)

본 교과목 “현대물리학의 이해”는 균형교양과목으로 학기 전반에서는 현대물리학의 특성과 그것이 발달해 온 과정을 강의식 수업을 통해 소개한다. 우선 “물리학의 학문적 특성”에 대해 소개하고, 현대물리학 이전에 발달된 “고전물리학의 특성과 역사”와 현대물리학의 기초가 된 “양자역학의 특성과 발달과정”에 대해 소개한다. 학기 후반부에는 현대물리학의 기초를 세운 “아인슈타인의 인물”에 대해 소개하고, 현대물리학의 각 분야로 발달된 “상대성이론”, “핵물리학”, “입자물리학”, “우주물리학”에 대해 간략하게 그 내용과 그의 사회적 의의에 대해 소개하고 논의한다.

건축과 문화(Architecture and Culture)

한 사회의 건축문화는 그 시대를 살아가는 사회구성원의 가치관과 환경적 여건, 기술적 역량을 반영한다. 이 강의는 다양한 시대와 다양한 자연적, 사회적, 기술적 조건에서 지어진 건물을 형태가 아닌 삶의 양식이자 현상으로 살펴본다. 이를 통해 건축을 감상의 대상이 아니라 개인적 삶과 사회적 삶의 조건을 규정하는 환경으로 이해하도록 하는 데 목표를 둔다. 이 강의를 통해 얻은 이해와 교양을 바탕으로 자기 삶과 공동체의 삶을 더 좋게 만들어가는 환경을 만들어가는 주체로서 시민의 역할을 적극적으로 행사하게 되기를 기대한다.

This lecture will give you the information that buildings which were built in various times, natural, social and technical conditions are not in form, but in phenomena and style of human being life. 과학의 역사(History of Science)

다양한 과학 분야 중 특히 생물학은 생명을 다루는 학문이다. 생물학의 모든 분과들은 생명의 근원에 대해 관심을 가진다. 생리학을 통해 인체 신비의 역사, 원생동물과 세균을 통해 미생물의 역사, 분류학을 통해 명명법의 역사 등등을 살핀다.
Biology is a life-related discipline among other fields of science. All branches of biology focus on the source of life. This lecture is designed to learn the contents the history of human mysteries through physiology, the history of microorganisms through protozoa and bacteria, and the history of nomenclature through taxonomy.

In this on-line cyber class fast growing advanced science and technology are introduced, and the policy and recent technology trend about information and communication fields are inquired. Through this the expanding possibilities of future science and technology such as fourth industry revolution and coming IoT are considered and the understanding about science and technology terminology is encouraged.

이 강좌는 현대사회에 들어서서 급격하게 변화하고 있는 환경에 대한 이해를 높이기 위하여 그 내용을 전 지구적인 관점에서 알아보는 것으로, 세계 각 지역의 환경적인 특성과 이의 균형, 그리고 그 과정에서 인간의 역할을 알아보고자 한다. 특히 우리나라는 최근 들어 지구 온난화의 변화를 직접 경험하고 있는 국가로서 심각한 계절 변화를 경험하고 있다. 이를 각자의 관점에서 분석하고 이해하고는 강좌이다.

역사속암호이야기(Historical cryptography story)

고대부터 근대까지 역사속에서 개발 또는 발견된 암호와 관련된 다양한 기술들에 대해서 소개하고, 수강하는 학생들이 암호가 어렵다고 생각하는 선입견을 없애고, 암호를 만드는 방법과 풀이하는 과정을 쉽게 익히도록 한다. 이를 통해 현대 암호 또는 자신들만의 암호를 만들 수 있고 즐거운 놀이로 느끼도록 한다.
This course introduces the diverse skills relating the historic codes from the ancient to modern times. Students can get rid of preconception which the codes are difficult to decode ,and learn how to make and decode codes.

Man-machine collaboration which is required in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution provide us with an artificial intelligence to solve problems with knowledge. Humans are to create problems by thinking creatively. Currently, data-based analysis and repetitive tasks are all being replaced by artificial intelligence. Accordingly, we are making various attempts to create value using artificial intelligence such as the field of educational institutions and industries etc.

인터넷윤리(lntroduction to computer)

인터넷 사회에서 윤리의식 부재로 인해 무분별하게 발생할 수 있는 여러가지 범죄와 사고에 대해 이해하고 기존의 윤리의식에 기초하여 이를 해결하기 위한 방법을 모색한다. 인터넷 사회에서 윤리적이고 안전한 컴퓨터 사용을 위한 노력으로 소개된 과학적인 접근방법들에 대해 이해하고 이를 적용하기 위해 노력한다.
You can understand various crimes and accidents that can occur indiscriminately due to the lack of ethical awareness in the internet society. You can learn the ways to solve various crimes and accidents with our existing ethical consciousness. Also you can understand and apply the scientific approaches which are introduced in our Internet society in an effort to use ethical and computers.

해양환경의 이해(Introduction to Marine Environment)

미래 사회의 지식인으로서 갖추어야할 해양환경의 형성 및 변화 과정에 관한 지식들을 강의한다. 주요 내용으로는 해양의 역사, 물의 순환과 물리화학적 특성, 해양생태계, 해양자원의 이용, 해양목장화, 해양환경변화와 기후, 해양오염, 해양레져활동 등이 포함된다. 강의는 기본 교재를 바탕으로 각 단원의 대표적 지식을 전달한 후 학생들의 발표를 유도하여 능동적 학습이 이루어지도록 진행한다. 학생들은 강의를 통해 해양환경의 중요성을 인식하고, 해양환경의 관리와 보전에 필요한 기초지식을 습득하게 된다.
This course covers the establishment and change of marine environment which is necessary for the future information intellectuals. Students recognize the importance of marine environment and learn the basic knowledge necessary for the supervision and preservation of marine environment.

미래사회와 표준(Global Standard)

국내 산업 구격 KS, 일본 산업 규격 JIS, 독일 산업 규격 DIN, 영국 산업 규격 BSI, 미국 산업 규격 ASTM, 및 국제표준 ISO/IEC를 소개하고 각국의 표준 기관의 활동 및 설립 목적을 소개 한다. 또한 국내 표준 규격제정 및 국제 표준 규격 제정의 과정을 설명하고 ISO/TC107 및 ISO/TC206의 활동을 소개한다.
This course introduces the Korean industrial standard(KS), Japanese industrial standard(JS), German industrial standard(GS), British industrial standard(BSI), American industrial standard(ASTM), and the international industrial standard(ISO/IEC), activities of standard institutions and establishment goals. More over, this course introduces the establishing process of the national and international standard law and the activities of ISO/TC107 and ISO/TC206.

제4차산업혁명과미래교육(Fourth Industrial Revolution and Future Education)

본 교과는 우리대학 학생들에게 4차 산업혁명에 대한 기본적이고도 다양한 개념과 현상에 대한 이해를 도모하게 하고, 이것이 교육과 어떻게 연관되어 있으며 향후 미래사회에서의 교육의 역할이 어떠해야 하는지를 학습하기 위한 두 꼭지의 내용들로 구성되어 있다. 첫째, 4차 산업혁명에 대한 기본 개념을 이해하고, 나아가 인공지능, 로봇, 가상현실, 사물인터넷 등의 활용 분야에 대해서 이해한다. 둘째, 전통적 교육과 미래교육의 차이, 4차 산업혁명시대에 필요한 인재, 미래교육의 과제가 무엇인가에 대해 살펴보고 학생들이 스스로 체험할 수 있도록 지도한다.

창의력코칭(Creativity coaching)

이 과목은 NFTM-TRIZ(지속적 창의력형성-창의적 문제해결이론)를 바탕으로 진행된다. 구소련서 나온 이론은 이미 선진기술강국에서 검증된 창의적 문제 해결 솔루션이다. 삼성은 삼성트리즈협회를 설립해 기술혁신과 생산성 절감에 효과를 얻고 있다. 선문대학은 2002년부터 국내최초로 연구소를 설립해 학문간에 벽을 낮추는데 기여해 왔다. 트리즈는 인문학의 감성과 공학의 정교함을 함축하고 있어 취업과 스펙 쌓기 경쟁에 확실한 차별을 둘 수 있다. Subjects is based on NFTM-TRIZ(continuous creativity formation of creative problem solving theory). USSR created by theory of creative problem solving, already proven in countries with strong technology solutions. Samsung TRIZ Association was established to obtain the effect of technology innovation & productivity savings. Sunmoon uni. since 2002 for the first time in Korea, have contributed to lowering the wall between academic faculties. TRIZ has the sensitivity and precision engineering of the humanities, to get our students to achieve differentiation from the competition.

프레지와 함게하는 스토리텔링(Prezi and Storytelling)

정보가 무한히 확산되고 양산되는 현 시대에 있어 스토리텔링기법은 비즈니스를 위한 필수기법 중에 하나이다. 스토리텔링을 성공적으로 하기 위해서는 효과적인 구성과 내용전개가 뒷받침되어야 하는데, 스토리텔링에 필요한 디지털 자료를 제작하고 표현하기 위한 좋은 수단이 되는 대표적인 도구가 바로 프레지(Prezi)이다. 본 강의에서는 프레지(Prezi) 도구를 사용하여 마치 옆에서 이야기를 들려주듯이 프레젠테이션을 전개하기 위한 기법에 대해 학습하며, 발표내용을 이야기의 형태로 구조화하고 이야기의 크기에 따라 연결고리를 만들어 탄탄한 스토리를 구성하고 제작하는 방법에 대해 다룬다.

기업가 정신(Entrepreneurship and Incubation)

벤처기업을 창업하려는 사람에게 기업가정신에 바탕을 둔 실무적인 절차 등을 교육한다. 예비창업자나 창업에 관심을 두고 있는 사람에게 우선적으로 필요한 것은 기업가 정신이기 때문이다. 또한 당장 서두르지 않고 시간을 충분히 두고 창업을 하려고 하는 이른바 잠재적 창업자 입장인 수강생을 위해 자기소개서와 이력서 작성 요령, 미디어 활용 창업 정보 수집 방법(뉴스 활용법)도 병행 교육한다.
This course provides the practical procedures based on Entrepreneurship to the students who want to establish their own business. Also this course offers how to write a letter of self history and resume, and how to use media and how to collect foundation information.

실전창업(practice for business foundation)

실전 창업은 실질적 창업실무를 구체적으로 학습하며, 본 수업을 통해 창업 절차 아이디어 및 아이템 발굴, 사업타당성 검토, 사업계획서 작성, 마케팅전략 로드맵, 그리고 시제품 계획수립, 아이템 또는 기술의 사업화에서 정부 정책 자금 조달, 등 일련의 성공창업을 위한 전반적인 교육 프로그램을 강의 한다.

창업시뮬레이션(Venture Simulation)

본 강좌는 우리대학 창업교육프로그램의 실전단계 교과목으로서 기술기반의 창업에 관심있는 학부학생(3,4학년)들을 대상으로 창조경제시대에 부합하는 창의적 융합인재양성을 위해 기업가마인드(Entrepreneurship)와 창업실무역량(Entrepreneurial Skill) 함양을 목적으로 설계됨.

판소리와 민요배우기(Learn Pansori and a folk song)

오늘날 우리 한국인들은 우리 교유의 음악보다는 서구음악에 익숙한 편이다. 서양음악과 우리음악은 창법 자체가 다르고 방식도 다르다. 이 과목에서는 오늘날 현대인들에게 멀어지고 있는 우리 고유의 민속음악인 판소리와 민요를 배우고 익혀서 직접 가창하는 것을 목표로 한다. 판소리는 부분창을, 민요는 남도민요를 위주로 한다.
We ar more familiar with the western musics than our traditional musics. Western Musics are different from our traditional musics in singing method and ways. In this course students will learn and sing Pansori and folk songs. Classes will focus on the Bubunchang in Pansori and Namdo folk songs in folk songs.
